Fall Flu Vaccination - Preparing for Another Huge Success
Vision Loss Resources will again receive a donation from the proceeds generated by our flu vaccination program that will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 in the Crystal Court of the IDS Center located in Downtown Minneapolis between 7:30 AM and 3 PM.
The IDS deserves our thanks for enabling us to carry out this important project.
Allina provided the nursing staff, vaccines and other essentials.
The committee members for the 2008 Kiwanis Flu Vaccination Project are Shane Austvold, Bev Benson, David Johnson, Kelly McCrary and Paul Sortland. Paul Sortland is serving as the chairperson for the project.
Annual Scholarship Awards - Spring, 2009
Our annual scholarship luncheon, where we award scholarships for students from every public and several private high schools in the City of Minneapolis, will be held in Spring, 2009. Students begin visiting our weekly meetings this fall.
